My First Blog

Today is Friday, March 18 and this is my 1st ever Blog posting.  I'm guess I'm kinda nervous because I've never done anything like this before.  Sure I've read other's Blogs but just never thought about doing it myself. 

Now that I've gotten that rambling done, I'd like to say thanks to everyone who have dropped by to find out about my life with a mudshow circus. Feel free to comment on my posts.

So now onto Life with a Mudshow Circus.

You may ask "Why is it called a Mudshow Circus?"  It is called that because most Circuses are now played inside buildings, not under a canvas tent.  My show plays under a canvas tent and we set up on grass, gravel, dirt, basically any field we can spread out the tent.  If it happens to rain, well let's just say that field goes from dirt to mud in no time flat. Hence the name, a mudshow circus.

Believe or not it only takes about 3 hours to get it erected and ready for showtime.  We play a different town every day or every 2 days.  You have to have precision & speed like that with such a hectic schedule.
